This RIDGLOK® Vertical Standing Seam Panel Insulation System was installed on storage silos located in Carrolton, GA for Southwire. Southwire is one of America’s top suppliers of industrial wire and cable.

There were three silos in all, the first measuring 12’ diameter x 30’ high, the second 14’ diameter x 38’ tall, and the third 16’ diameter x 16’ high. The silos were close in proximity with as little as 18” of space in some areas. Despite the tight work space and the frigid temperatures, snow, and rain, this project was completed on schedule on February 2, 2016.

The RIDGLOK® Insulated Panel System consisted of 0.024 stucco-embossed aluminum metal jacketing in white laminated to 1.5” polyisocyanurate insulation board with an R-value of 9.6 using a cone roof design.

The Project Engineer stated that he was satisfied with the completed work and that he would recommend the RIDGLOK® Panel System and our crew to others.
