RIDGLOK® tank insulation systems are engineered to be energy efficient, durable, and cost effective for both hot and cold tank storage applications. There is MINIMAL DOWN TIME as RIDGLOK® Vertical Standing Seam Panel Insulation can be installed without taking the tank out of service.

HEAT TRACING:

Further customization with Heat Tracing is recommended to maintain proper temperatures in northern climates and further reduce costs in conjunction with RIDGLOK® Vertical Standing Seam Panel Insulation Jacket.

FREEZE PROTECTION NFPA:

RIDGLOK® Installation teams comply with all NFPA 22, Section 16.4 code requirements for tank insulation. 16.4.1 Tanks shall be permitted to be insulated to conserve energy. 16.4.2 Insulation materials shall be listed and shall be installed with protection against fire, exposure, corrosion, and weather. 16.4.3 Heating requirements shall be based on design information in accordance with the ASHRAE Handbook of Fundamentals. 16.4.4 Outside winter design temperatures shall be in accordance with Figure 16.4.1. 16.4.5 Heat-loss calculations shall be based on average water temperature of 55°F (12.8°C).
