Project Overview

This RIDGLOK® Vertical Standing Seam Panel Insulation System was manufactured at our facility in Reed, KY for installation on a stillage tank roof at an ethanol plant in Bloomingburg, OH near Washington Court House, OH. 

The roof had been previously insulated with conventional insulation which had blown off twice due to high winds and a poor attachment. The facility was in search of a better long-term solution that would withstand the higher wind speeds. The RIDGLOK® System is engineered to withstand up to 95 mph wind speeds and therefore was a viable option.        

The tank stood 52’ high with a diameter of 35’.  The tank is located near multiple other tanks at the facility making access to the roof challenging.  Our two man crew was able to work successfully and complete the job within a week.    

Upon completion of the project, the maintenance manager had this to say: “GREAT crew to work with. Immediately addressed all concerns and worked well within our safety programs.” He also certified that all work was completed satisfactorily and that he would recommend both the MC&I crew and the RIDGLOK® Panel System to others.
