The Chrin Commerce Centre offers industrial and office lots in the facility located in Palmer Township, PA.

The facility had a newly constructed Fire Water Ground Storage Tank that required insulation for freeze protection.

The RIDGLOK® Vertical Standing Seam Panel Insulation System was installed on the Fire Protection Tank. The project took less than a week to complete in mid-November 2015. Despite the rain and windy weather conditions, the project was completed ahead of schedule. The site superintendent reported that the job was completed satisfactorily and that he would recommend both the crew and the RIDGLOK® Panel System to others.

The 29.5’ diameter x 32’ in height, welded tank was utilized to hold firewater for the retail facility. The project was completed on 11/21/2015.

The RIDGLOK® Insulated Panel System consisted of 0.024 stucco-embossed aluminum metal jacketing in Grey laminated to 1.5” of polyisocyanurate insulation board using a cone roof design.

The RIDGLOK® Vertical Standing Seam Panel Insulation system is used for freeze protection in fire protection tanks. The panels can be applied to all types of tanks, including flat bolted, chimed bolted, glass-lined, fiberglass, welded, stainless steel, and concrete. The tank does not need to be taken out of service to install the system. Insulating fire protection tanks with RIDGLOK® Vertical Standing Seam Insulation provides energy savings by reducing the amount of electricity needed to heat the tank.
