MC&I designed, manufactured and installed the RIDGLOK® Vertical Standing Seam Insulated Panel System on a bolted liquid ground storage tank used for food processing, located in Ponca City, OK for Dorada Poultry.
Dorada Poultry is a joint venture between the principals of Lopez Foods, Inc. (LFI) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the nation’s largest Hispanic-owned meat manufacturing company, and Tyson Foods, Inc. of Springdale, Arkansas, one of the world’s largest processors and marketers of chicken, beef and pork products. “This innovative venture will enable us to expand Tyson’s involvement in providing a reliable supply of safe, consistent quality chicken that meets McDonald’s high standards,” said Donnie Smith, president and chief executive officer of Tyson.

The food processing storage tank was a 18.46′ diameter x 24.55′ high flat bolted tank. The storage tank insulation project was completed in July, 2011.
The RIDGLOK® Vertical Standing Seam Insulated Panel System consisted of 0.024 stucco-embossed aluminum metal jacketing, in White color, laminated to 3″ of polyisocyanurate insulation board on the shell and 2″ of polyisocyanurate insulation board on the roof (R-Value of 20 on the shell and R-Value of 13.1 on the roof), using a straight pan roof style system.
