Project Overview – Fire Department

This RIDGLOK® Vertical Standing Seam Panel Insulation System was manufactured at our facility in Reed, KY for installation on a storage tank used to hold water for fire protection. The tank is located in a rural area at a fire department.

The customer required insulation for a service water tank to prevent freezing of the fire protection water. The tank dimensions were 19.9’ diameter x 25.57’ high. 

Upon completion of the project, the superintendent stated that he was completely satisfied with both the MC&I crew as well as the RIDGLOK® Panel System.

Despite several very windy days, the insulation project was complete in just under a week.
