GM’s Marion Metal Center provides blanks, stampings and sheet metal assembly for cars, vans, trucks and SUVs to GM assembly plants throughout North America.

This RIDGLOK® Vertical Standing Seam Panel Insulation System was installed on 2 storage tanks located at the facility in Marion, IN.

Each of the two tanks measured 47’ diameter x 40’ high. The project was completed on December 7, 2015 despite the cold, wet, and windy weather conditions.

The RIDGLOK® Insulated Panel System consisted of 0.024 stucco-embossed aluminum metal jacketing in fawn laminated to 1.5” polyisocyanurate insulation board with and R-value of 9.6 using a straight panel roof design.

The Facility Engineer stated that all work was done satisfactorily and that he would recommend both our crew and the RIDGLOK® Panel System to others. He further stated: “The crew did an excellent job. Our tanks have never looked better. We’ve had many compliments on our tanks.”
