MC&I Stands Behind Its Product
In its ten-year history, RIDGLOK® has had one claim against its manufactured product. This was a rare situation that Bob Mayes viewed as an opportunity for improvement. The situation was resolved to the owner’s satisfaction and MC&I went on to provide more panels throughout the site. But that’s not the end of the story.
It’s one thing to acknowledge responsibility for a problem and resolve it. It’s quite another to use the problem to dig deeper, to try harder, and to innovate more creatively. Problems aren’t things to be dealt with and forgotten at MC&I. Rather, they’re opportunities to get ahead of the competition by creating a more reliable product.
MC&I provides detailed installation instructions which, when followed, provide for a high-quality installation.
Bob has been called to a few projects to look at things like wind damage, only to discover that the installers used less than half of the specified connectors. Despite this oversight by the contractor, Bob wanted the project to proudly bear the RIDGLOK® name and provided the required materials for the repairs. But changes were made to prevent this type of thing from happening to future customers.
MC&I partners are required to submit photographs of specific elements of the installation. MC&I’s own installation crews are not allowed to leave a project until the site manager provides a review and sign-off on MC&I’s quality assurance form.
To Bob Mayes, RIDGLOK® represents the standard of quality and integrity in outdoor storage tank insulation. In this dog-eat-dog world, MC&I represents the height of respect, quality, and integrity.
