Tank Specifications
This digester storage tank insulation project consisted of 2 storage tanks. The smaller of the 2 wastewater digester tanks was a 9.4′ diameter x 57′ high chimed bolted tank with a cone roof.
The RIDGLOK® Vertical Standing Seam Panel Insulation System consisted of 0.024 stucco-embossed aluminum metal jacketing in Fawn color. It was laminated to 3″ of polyisocyanurate insulation board for the sidewalls (R-value of 20), and 2″ of polyisocyanurate insulation board for the roof (R-value of 13) using a straight pan system.
The larger of the 2 wastewater digester tanks was a 47.5′ diameter x 57′ high flat bolted tank with an external rafter roof.
The RIDGLOK® Vertical Standing Seam Panel Insulation System used for the larger tank consisted of 0.024 stucco-embossed aluminum metal jacketing, also in Fawn color. It was laminated to 2″ of polyisocyanurate insulation board for the sidewalls and roof (R-value of 13), with an external rafter roof system. These wastewater digester tanks contained multiple protrusions.
The storage tank insulation project was completed in January 2011.
