NFPA 22 section 16.4 specifies that Fire Protection Tanks be permitted to be insulated for conservation of energy. However, the materials used to insulate the tanks must be installed to protect against corrosion and weather.
Virtually any business – commercial, industrial, retail – even municipalities and military facilities require fire protection tanks to serve water (not ice) for their wet sprinkler system.
MCI has been leading the way in providing the most cost-effective insulation solution for insulated fire protection tanks. We’ve insulated fire protection tanks across the United States, including Alaska.
We’ve also exported to the middle east, Canada, Tasmania, Australia.
Many times we find ourselves ‘re-insulating’ tanks where previous systems have decomposed or failed. With its 20 plus year life span – this won’t be a problem with RIDGLOK® panels.
See the case studies below for a list of fire protection tanks we’ve insulated for such end-users as Home Depot, Proctor & Gamble, Ford, GM, WalMart, and many others.
